The Davie County Board of Commissioners will meet tonight, Monday June 7, 2010, in the Davie County Administrative building at 6:00 pm.The agenda for tonight’s meeting includes various items.The board will examine one re-zoning issue concerning land located at 1184 Hwy. 801 S.Binny Orrell Sr. has asked that the land be re-zoned from residential to highway business-special conditions.Amendments will be proposed and voted upon for the water and sewer use chapter of the Davie County Code of Ordinances.The board also plans to announce the winning bidder to build the new E911 center in DavieCounty.The lowest bidder, Westbend Construction, bid $452,480.
Concerning budget items, the board will examine budget amendments and transfers concerning the library, YVEDDI, Senior Services, and DDVS/RCC.Various appointments will be made including ones to the agricultural advisory board, animal cruelty investigator, board of adjustment, DavidsonCountyCommunity College board of trustees, and others.
